USA HOCKEY RULES UPDATE

This notification is to make sure all are aware of the key rule changes that will be applied for the 2018-2019 USA Hockey season. These upcoming changes were voted and approved by the USA Hockey and Massachusetts Hockey Board of Directors this past June at each respective Annual Meetings.

USA Hockey Key Rule Changes:

• There will be a mandatory 30-day suspension for any coach not wearing a helmet on the ice during any USA Hockey sanctioned event.
• Change that effects Tier II Girls’ hockey play up rule for 12U to 14U.
